How to apply

  • Step 1: Complete the Intake Form and arrange an exterior inspection by a Town Municipal Law Enforcement Officer.
    • Submit the Intake Form.
    • Have the exterior of the property inspected under the relevant by-laws.
  • Step 2: Hire a licensed Ontario exterminator and complete contractor forms.
    • Use a licensed Ontario exterminator for exterior rodent removal.
    • Have the contractor complete the Contractor Information Form.
  • Step 3: Gather proof of work and payment.
    • Collect contractor receipts.
    • Keep proof of payment such as a cancelled cheque or bank/credit card statement with personal information concealed.
  • Step 4: Submit the rebate application to the Town.
    • Send the completed and signed Contractor Rebate Form and receipts in person or by email.
  • Step 5: Await Town review and decision.
    • Town staff review the application.
    • Receive a cheque if approved or a denial explanation if refused.

  • If approved, a cheque is issued.
  • If denied, the applicant receives the reason for the denial.
