Who is eligible?

• Quebec universities
• Quebec research centres
• Quebec public or parapublic organizations
• Incorporated Quebec non-profit organizations

Eligible expenses

• Staff salaries and benefits directly tied to the project
• Student scholarships, participant compensation, consultant fees
• Equipment rental or purchase, IT services, travel, accommodation, office supplies
• French translation, dissemination, and knowledge transfer activities
• Indirect research costs required by universities and research institutions

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Costs not directly related to the project
• Salaries already covered by the regular budget of a public institution
• Expenses incurred before approval or after the project period
• Costs already funded by Quebec government budget rules
• Property purchases, debt financing, or loan repayments

• Quebec

• Relevance to the law and À part entière policy
• Scientific quality of the project
• Feasibility of the project
• Expected outcomes and transfer potential
• Team expertise and quality of collaborations

• Step 1
  • Prepare the project description, budget, CVs, and supporting letters if needed.
• Step 2
  • Submit the complete application to the Office before the deadline.
• Step 3
  • Wait for the eligibility review and evaluation committee assessment.
• Step 4
  • If approved, sign the funding agreement before project start.

• Eligible applications are reviewed by an evaluation committee
• Applicants receive a letter of approval or refusal
• Approved projects require a formal funding agreement with the Office
• Funding is paid according to the agreement terms
• A final report is required, in French

• The Office may request supporting documents for verification.
• Projects must follow the required proposal format and page limit.
• Partnerships and collaboration letters may be included if applicable.
