This program supports translational regenerative medicine research with funding up to $750,000. Eligible activities span proof-of-principle experiments, knowledge translation, clinical translation research, early-stage clinical trials, and academic–biotech partnerships.
Activities funded
- Proof-of-principle experiments, including novel therapeutic or technical approach development.
- Knowledge creation and translation of regenerative medicine research for targeted stakeholders and/or users.
- Multi-disciplinary research moving toward the clinic within five years.
- Research addressing key questions associated with an ongoing clinical trial.
- Early-stage clinical trial projects with high translational potential.
