Eligibility
- The applicant must be an organization operating in the Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Reserve Region.
- The project must be conducted in a First Nation’s territory with support from that First Nation.
- The proposed initiative must align with research and environment priorities in the region.

- Advances First Nations priorities and follows protocols (including support from the First Nation in whose territory research occurs)
- Contributes to specific conservation actions (e.g., protection, education, policy change) or new conservation partnerships
Additional information
- The funding is provided through an annual discretionary budget managed by the CBT Research & Environment Committee.
