How to apply
- Step 1: Review program requirements

- Step 3: Submit the application
- Apply through the Township’s Economic Development contact process.
- Step 4: Sign the agreement if approved
- Complete the Financial Assistance Agreement and registration on title.
Processing and Agreement
- All successful applications for this stream of the Community Improvement Plan will require a Financial Assistance Agreement between the applicant and the Township.
- The agreement will be registered on title.
- The agreement will contain a clause that ensures the eligible rental housing units remain as rental housing units for a period of not less than 20 years.
- If units are no longer rental housing within the 20 year period, the grant, including interest, will be immediately due and payable.
