Selection criteria

  • Eligible applicants are ranked on a first come, first served basis.
  • Household priority is established based on need.

Who is eligible for the Rent Supplement Program (RSP) program?

To be eligible for the Rent Supplement Program (RSP) program, you must: Applicants must have a revenue below the local market income limits for their community. Applicants must be a Canadian citizen, a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, a permanent resident. For the Temporary Rent Assistance Benefit, households must be employed or have worked within the last 24 months.
