- Businesses in sectors that are critical to the resilience and survival of Atlantic Canada’s economy, such as advanced manufacturing, ocean industries, clean growth technology, and tourism, may be given priority.
How to apply
- Step 1: Review program fit
- Confirm that the organization and project align with the program objectives and eligibility requirements.
- Speak with an ACOA program officer if needed.
- Step 2: Prepare the application
- Gather the required supporting information and documents.
- Complete the project and organizational details carefully.
- Step 3: Apply online
- Sign in to MyACOA or register a new account.
- Create a new application and complete the required modules.
- Upload supporting documents and submit the application online.
- Step 4: Alternate submission support
- Use a fillable PDF if submitting in person, by email, mail, or fax where applicable.
Processing and Agreement
- ACOA assesses applications as soon as they are received.
- Applications that are in good order can be processed quickly.
- After an offer of approved funds is accepted, ACOA may provide an advance of up to half of that amount.
- The rest of the funding is provided after valid claims are submitted.
- ACOA funding recipients affected by the repayment deadline change receive written notification of the extended repayment deadline.
