Who is eligible?
- Non-governmental, non-profit community organizations.
- Municipalities and schools serving northern and remote communities, including Indigenous communities, where they provide recreational sport opportunities.

- Municipalities and other levels of government.
- Schools, including universities, colleges, elementary schools, and high schools, except in the specified northern and remote community context.
- Provincial-level organizations and Provincial/Territorial Sport Organizations affiliated to National Sport Organizations.
- National-level organizations.
Eligible expenses
- General administration costs, including legal review, communication, meetings, travel, and office equipment.
- Salaries, wages, benefits, contracts, and honoraria.
- Program delivery costs such as content development, design, printing, translation, travel, meals, accommodation, and facility rental.
- Uniforms and equipment rental or purchase for the project.
- Research, evaluation, reporting, and data management costs.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Awards, medals, trophies, and banquets.
- Capital costs, including buildings and land.
- Cost of sales, fundraising, and gift cards.
- Discretionary severance and separation packages.
- Litigation costs and personal items, including individual uniforms.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed and scored by an adjudication team.
- Applicants are assessed against program priorities and project fit.
- All applicants receive a funding decision from CPRA.
- Successful applicants must confirm acceptance within five working days of the offer.
- Final reporting is required after the program ends.
