How to apply

    • Confirm that your organization meets the eligibility criteria.

  • Step 2: Complete the application package
    • Fill out the Community Grant application form.
    • Prepare the required supporting documents and project details.
  • Step 3: Submit the application
    • Send the completed application to the Legislative Services Department of the Regional District of Nanaimo.
    • Submit by mail or email using the contact details provided by the RDN.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the Community Grants Committee.
  • The Committee makes recommendations to the RDN Board.
  • Applicants are notified in writing of the decision.
  • Successful recipients must report back in writing after the funds are spent.
  • Unused grant funds must be refunded to the Regional District of Nanaimo.
