- Businesses already registered in another stream of the current edition of Défi OSEntreprendre.
- Businesses that have already won an official category prize in the Création d’entreprise stream at the regional or national level in a previous edition.
- Entrepreneurial team members who are part of OSEntreprendre’s board or management, a regional mandating organization’s board or management, or staff involved in the challenge’s deployment during the previous and/or current edition.
- Entrepreneurial team members who are local or regional leaders, committee members, or honorary presidents in the current or previous edition, or jury members in the current edition.

- For social economy businesses (COOP, OBNL), the entrepreneurial team must include, where applicable, the management team, board members, and advisory committee.
