- Young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 39 starting a business
Who is not eligible
- State-owned companies or enterprises controlled directly or indirectly by a government (municipal, provincial, or federal), a municipal entity, or a company that is mostly owned by a state-owned enterprise.
- Companies in a state of bankruptcy or insolvency.
- Organizations registered in the Register of Non-eligible Businesses for Public Contracts (RENA), or using the services of subcontractors listed therein.
- Companies that have failed to meet their obligations during a previous financial aid from the Quebec government or the MRC in the past two years.
- Companies committing ethical breaches or offering products or services likely to harm the integrity or probity of the government, even by association.
Eligible expenses
- Acquisition of technologies, land, buildings, equipment, machinery, and vehicles directly related to business projects.
- Construction, expansion, renovation, and outfitting of land and business premises directly connected to a project.
- Additional working capital required for project completion (for a maximum period of two years), based on justified and reasonable documented needs.
- Professional fees for preparatory activities such as feasibility analysis, external audits, and impact studies directly tied to the project.
- Professional fees strictly and directly related to the implementation of technologies, equipment, machinery, acquisitions, construction, renovations, and outfitting of land or premises for project realization.
- Expenses for acquisition of business ownership (voting shares or equity) and business assets in the context of business transfer projects.
- Professional fees directly linked to the transaction, acquisition, or transfer of business management during succession projects.
