The RBC Foundation Community Spaces Grant supports hospitals, cultural institutions, community centres and other registered charities in Canada with funding of up to C$2.5 million over five years. It funds retrofits, repairs or upgrades of existing public community buildings and spaces, and new public spaces that improve accessibility or reduce environmental impacts.

- Funding decisions will be based on an organization’s size, the community benefit and the regional population
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed against RBC’s priorities, including impact, community engagement, feasibility, and financial position.
- RBC reviews every application, but funding is not guaranteed.
- Organizations may be asked to demonstrate strong financial management and governance.
- Approved projects must be completed within the approved funding term.
