How to apply
- Submit the 2026-27 Rat Control Program Claim Form by email to Annette Ellert, Agriculture Program Administrator, at aellert@sarm.ca by December 31, 2026.
Processing and Agreement
- Rebates are determined once all claims are received by SARM and all program expenses are recorded prior to March 31, 2027.
- Verification of fulfillment of program requirements may be requested.
- Random audits may be conducted.
- Information on specific reporting measures may also be requested.
- All records, information, databases, audit and evaluation reports and other documents relating to the program must be retained until March 31, 2034.
Additional information
- Rat Control Technical Advisors provide ongoing mentoring and technical guidance to new and existing appointed PCOs and licensed pesticide applicators on a case-by-case basis.
- Plant Health Technical Advisors provide direct support, education and training to rural municipalities, their municipally appointed officers, and First Nations.
