Who is eligible?

- Students who are not Québec residents or deemed residents.
- Students who are not Canadian citizens, permanent residents, refugees, or protected persons.

- Courses already credited.
- Recognized prior learning or course equivalencies.
- Courses not required for the diploma.

How to apply
- Step 1: Check your eligibility and obtain the required form from your educational institution if needed.
- Access your Student Financial Assistance File or contact your institution.
- Step 2: Submit your application.
- Apply online through your Student Financial Assistance File.
- Or send the paper form by mail if applicable.
- Step 3: Add supporting forms if required.
- Submit Form 1810 when your situation requires it.
- Submit Form 1801 for a declaration of change when needed.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are processed through the Student Financial Assistance File or by mail.
- Applications are reviewed after submission and a decision is uploaded or sent by mail.
- If approved, the scholarship is paid after the completed study term.
- If refused, a review request may be submitted within 30 days.

- The scholarship is awarded after each completed study term.
- The amount received is considered income and a tax slip is issued at year-end.
- The scholarship can be combined with the Parcours bursaries and the Loans and Bursaries Program for Full-Time Studies.
