  • Legally constituted conservation organizations
  • Organizations designated by a ministry to act on the territory of Trois-Rivières

Who is not eligible

  • Organizations whose activity is religious, spiritual, esoteric, sexual, or political
  • Employees of Fondation Trois-Rivières durable, Innovation et développement économique Trois-Rivières, or the City of Trois-Rivières
  • Members of the Trois-Rivières City Council

Eligible expenses

  • Acquisition costs for natural areas in Trois-Rivières, including fair market value, tax allocation, transfer duties, management fund, and related bank fees
  • Property tax amounts for payments to a conservation organization equivalent to property taxes, and costs related to establishing the conservation easement in favor of the Fondation Trois-Rivières durable
  • Salaries, social benefits, and travel directly linked to project coordination, supervision, and delivery
  • External services, specialists, consultants, materials, tools, light equipment, and machinery or equipment rental
  • Logistics, promotion, and office or administrative expenses, including space rental, setup, transport, equipment installation, food, beverages, and other directly attributable costs

  • Costs incurred before the submission date or after the funding agreement period
  • IT equipment and infrastructure costs
  • Brand image and website design costs
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • GST/QST and other reimbursable costs, costs for activities not provided for in or not approved before realization, costs incurred when the committee requests clarifications or additional documents, and use of program funds or materials for partisan purposes

  • Contribution to the City of Trois-Rivières sustainable development objectives: 30%
  • Project criteria meeting the objectives and targets of the City of Trois-Rivières natural area conservation strategy: 20%
  • Expected concrete results: 10%
  • Mobilization of the milieu: 10%
  • Experience and credibility of the applicant, financial structure, and work plan: 10% each

  • Complete the budget form.
  • Send the application by email in original format to Fondation Trois-Rivières durable at eclore@3rdurable.org with the required attachments.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by an evaluation committee after each submission date.
  • Projects are assessed against program criteria and ranked by score.
  • A minimum score of 60% is required to be eligible for funding.
  • Applicants are notified after review, and a funding agreement must be signed before payment.
  • Changes to the project or schedule must be approved by the committee.
