How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare the application package
    • Complete all required application components in the required format.
    • Assemble the application as a PDF file.
  • Step 2: Submit by email
    • Send the PDF to The Foundation Office; Grant and Scholarship Committee.
    • Copy Ian Wilshaw on the email.
    • Use the required subject line text.
  • Step 3: Confirm receipt
    • Wait for a confirmation email.
    • If no confirmation is received by July 8, 2026, contact the program by phone.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by a panel of independent research scientists and Prostate Cancer Support Group members.
  • Proposals are ranked by scientific merit and program priorities.
  • Funding is awarded to the highest-ranked projects, subject to available funds.
  • Successful applicants sign an award letter accepting the funding guidelines.
  • Award recipients are notified of the decision by September 30, 2026.

Additional information

  • Renewal applications are considered only after review of a new application and a progress report.
  • A scientific officer’s report of the application review is provided to applicants.
  • Award recipients must submit an Annual Research Summary.
  • Recipients must cite PCFC support in publications based on the project.
