Who is eligible?

  • Canadian citizens or landed immigrants who are permanent residents of Quebec.
  • Graduates of Cégep de Jonquière.

Who is not eligible

  • Non-profit organizations, cooperatives, and community organizations.
  • Businesses or projects with a sexual, religious, or political character.
  • Dating agencies, war games, tarot, numerology, astrology, and personal development courses.
  • Bed-and-breakfasts, family inns, and similar lodging projects.
  • Any other project deemed unsuitable by the selection committee or the board of directors.

Eligible expenses

  • Capital expenditures such as land, building, equipment, machinery, rolling stock, business registration fees, and similar expenses, excluding goodwill expenses.
  • Acquisition of technologies, software or software packages, patents, and similar expenses, excluding research and development activities.
  • Working capital strictly related to the business's operations, calculated for the first year of operation.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Goodwill expenses.
  • Research and development activities.
  • Operating an organization, financing debt service, or repaying a loan.
