Who is eligible?
- For-profit organizations duly registered in the Registraire des entreprises du Québec.
- Non-profit organizations duly registered in the Registraire des entreprises du Québec.
- Legally constituted institutions, including CIUSSS-CN, school boards, schools, and similar bodies.
Eligible expenses
- Soil materials such as earth, compost, and fertilizer.
- Planting materials such as trees, shrubs, flowers, grasses, perennials, and ground covers.
- Protective materials needed for the long-term viability of the project, such as irrigation bags, stakes, rodent protection, and planting bed borders.
- Labor and technical services for design, site management, planting support, plant selection, citizen mobilization, soil preparation, and demineralization work.
- Authorization, signage, and soil-contamination assessment fees, including the stated maximums of $200, $200, and $300.
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Administration, contingency, communication, watering, and routine maintenance expenses.
- Demineralization costs for uses other than greening, such as play areas or picnic areas.
- Gardening tools.
- Plants, potting soil, and materials intended for above-ground plantings, as well as annual plants and seeds.
- A water outlet or irrigation system, and furniture.
