Overview
This program provides up to $1,000 to support initiatives that improve animal well-being. Eligible activities include direct support to shelters and animal organizations and indirect support through training and knowledge sharing.
Activities funded
- Support activities that improve the well-being of shelter animals.
- Initiatives to improve living conditions for dogs living in the streets.
- Training and knowledge-sharing activities related to animal well-being and canine behavioural understanding.
- Projects to improve quality of life for horses and the equestrian world.
- Projects to improve living conditions for farm animals, livestock, domestic animals, and protected species.
Examples of admissible projects:

Upgrade shelter kennels with enrichment tools and staff training

Equip rescue team for low-stress intake and safe handling

Eligibility
- The project must aim to improve animal well-being.
- The project should contribute either directly through on-the-ground support or indirectly through knowledge sharing and training.
- The project should align with one or more program objectives (e.g., improving conditions for shelter animals, street dogs, farm animals, domestic animals, horses, or protected species).
