How to apply

  • Step 1: Review the call for proposals
    • Check the FAQDD website for application documents, instructions, and submission dates.
  • Step 2: Prepare the application
    • Complete the required forms and prepare the project information requested for the program.
  • Step 3: Submit by email
    • Send the application electronically to action-climat-quebec@environnement.gouv.qc.ca.
  • Step 4: Await the decision
    • The FAQDD reviews the application and sends a letter confirming whether the project was selected and the funding amount granted.
  • Step 5: Sign the funding agreement
    • If selected, the parties sign the agreement before funding is paid.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are first checked for program eligibility.
  • Eligible applications are assessed by a selection committee.
  • The FAQDD confirms the decision and the funding amount by letter.
  • A funding agreement is then signed before payments are made.
  • Payments and reporting obligations are carried out according to the agreement.

  • Projects are funded through calls for proposals managed by the FAQDD.
  • The program has two streams: national projects and local/regional projects.
  • Projects must be completed within three years, unless an approved extension is granted.
  • One organization cannot receive support for more than two projects in the same call for proposals.
