- Students in certificate, undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral programs
- Applicants to the South Africa, Latin America and Caribbean, and Trinity Washington University programs may be part-time students

- Applicants under 25 years old
- Students not officially enrolled at the time of application
- Applicants who do not submit all required documents
