  • Preparatory studies and professional fees for building restoration.
  • Professional fees related to restoration of furnishings, works of art, and organs.
  • Fire detection and extinguishing systems.
  • Electrical security components for the site.

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Expenses related to companies registered in RENA.
  • Projects or property linked to non-budgetary bodies listed in Annex 2 of the Financial Administration Act.
  • Projects from education or healthcare network organizations where the property is funded by another ministry.

How to apply

  • Step 1: Complete the application form and gather the required supporting documents.
    • Prepare the form provided by the Council.
    • Attach the required proof and reports for the selected section.
  • Step 2: Submit to the proper program office or regional body
    • Section 1 applications are submitted to the regional Table de concertation for the territory.
    • Section 2 applications are submitted to the Council’s office.
  • Step 3: Sign the financial assistance agreement
    • Provide the signed agreement before starting the work.
    • Follow the program obligations set out in the agreement.
  • Step 4: Carry out the work and send claims
    • Submit invoices, payment certificates, and proof of payment.
    • Provide completion documents when the project is finished.

Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the regional Table de concertation or the relevant Council committee.
  • Selected projects are prioritized and recommended to the Council, then to the Minister.
  • A financial assistance agreement must be signed before work begins.
  • Funding is released after supporting claims and proof of payment are submitted.
  • The Council verifies the project completion and sends the final result to the Minister.

  • Projects are divided into two sections: building restoration and restoration of furnishings, works of art, and organs.
  • Applicants must follow the program forms and supporting documents required by the Council.
  • A financial assistance agreement must be signed before funding is granted.
