How to apply

  • Read the Private Road Grant Policy to ensure you have the required information to complete the application form.
  • Save and fill out the fillable form on your computer.
  • Email the completed application to publicworks@trentlakes.ca.

Processing and Agreement

  • The application will be considered incomplete and ineligible to receive a Private Road Grant if it does not contain all the required documentation.
  • The grant amount will be transferred to the Private Road Association account following receipt of proof of payment.

Additional information

  • Grants are not guaranteed and may be reduced at any time by resolution of Council.
  • The Municipality has allocated $30,000 per year for the Private Road Grant Program.
  • The policy will be reviewed every four years by the Director Public Works.

The association must have a bank account for the work costs. The association is not eligible to receive the grant in consecutive years.
