How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare the technical review package
    • Complete the Technical Review Application form.

  • Step 2: Send the pre-approval request
    • Email, mail, or deliver the package to the City of Markham Environmental Services Department.
  • Step 3: Complete the approved work
    • Wait for City pre-approval before starting the work.
    • Carry out the installation with the required inspections and permits.
  • Step 4: Submit the rebate request
    • Send the rebate application with the building permit receipt, contractor invoice, and proof of disconnected downspouts.
