Processing and Agreement

  • Applications are reviewed by the Active Transportation Working Group.
  • Projects are evaluated and scored out of 100 based on category-specific criteria.
  • Approved applicants must sign a funding agreement with the Province.
  • A Payee Registration Form is required before payment is issued.
  • Final payment is made after completion is confirmed with invoices and proof of payment.

Additional information

  • Applications can be submitted anytime during the year.
  • Only applications submitted by the first Friday in December are considered for the next fiscal year.
  • Successful applicants may combine this funding with other federal or provincial funding, subject to stacking rules.
  • Applicants must enter into a funding agreement and complete a Payee Registration Form before payment.
