Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Transnational consortia with at least three partners from three different countries.
  • At least two of those countries must be EU Member States or associated countries.
  • Universities and higher education institutions may apply.
  • Public and private research organizations may apply.
  • Small, medium and large enterprises, consulting firms, municipalities, public organizations, NGOs, stakeholder associations, and foundations may apply.

Selection criteria

  • Pre-proposals are evaluated by a jury of international experts.
  • Selection for stage 2 is based on the results of the centralized evaluation and the available budget.
  • Full proposals are reviewed through centralized evaluation and by the RAMP ethics advisory committee.
  • Final funding decisions are based on the evaluation results and the available budget.

How to apply

  • The coordinator submits the pre-proposal through the electronic submission and evaluation system before 22 September 2026 at 15h00 CEST.
  • Invited consortia submit the full proposal through the same system before 15 February 2027 at 15h00 CET.
  • Some national or regional funders may require separate applications, so applicants should check the specific requirements in Annex 1 of the official call text.

Processing and Agreement

  • Pre-proposals are checked for eligibility and evaluated by a jury of international experts.
  • Only invited consortia may submit a full proposal.
  • Full proposals are checked for eligibility, centrally evaluated, and reviewed by the RAMP ethics advisory committee.
  • Final funding decisions are made based on the evaluation results and the available budget.
  • Each project partner receives funding directly from its national or regional funder according to the applicable rules.
