Eligibility

Who is eligible?

  • Registered charitable organizations
  • Canadian charities supporting 2SLGBTQ+ communities
  • Organizations delivering health, education, social, legal, cultural, or athletic services

Who is not eligible

  • Organizations that are not registered charities
  • Applicants using a trusteeship arrangement with a charitable partner
  • Projects that are current, existing, or ongoing programs

Eligible expenses

  • Project staffing and salaries
  • Materials and marketing costs
  • Other project-related operating costs

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Political advocacy or partisan political activity
  • Alcohol
  • Costs incurred before the signed grant agreement

How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare the application
    • Complete the grant application form.
    • Gather the required financial and governance documents.
  • Step 2: Submit the application
    • Send the signed application by email to info@priderunfoundation.org.
    • Mail the application to the Foundation’s Toronto address.
  • Step 3: Follow the review process
    • Shortlisted applicants may be invited to meet with board members.
    • Wait for the funding decision and grant agreement process.

  • Shortlisted applicants may be invited to a meeting with board members
