Who is not eligible

• Members of the OIIQ Board of Directors.
• OIIQ head office staff.

• Remarkable professional development with a major impact on nursing improvement.
• Professional achievements recognized by peers.
• Active involvement in professional activities.
• Values reflecting the nursing profession: integrity, respect, autonomy, competence, excellence, collaboration, and humanity.

• Step 1: Obtain the candidate’s agreement before submitting the nomination.
• Step 2: Prepare the nomination file, including the updated CV and three supporting letters.
• Step 3: Complete the online nomination form with candidate and nominator information.
• Step 4: Upload the required documents and any relevant supporting material.
• Step 5: Submit the completed application through the online form.

• Applications are reviewed by the Selection Committee.
• The committee makes a recommendation to the OIIQ Board of Directors.
• The selected recipient is notified directly by the OIIQ president.

• The award has been in existence since 1973.
• Candidacies remain valid for three years, including the submission year.
• The recipient is informed directly by the OIIQ president during the summer.
• The award is presented annually at the OIIQ Congress or Annual General Meeting.
