This funding supports archiving and preserving recorded sound heritage of the Americas. It offers up to $5,000 for assistance/assessment/consultation and up to $20,000 for preservation implementation activities.
Activities funded
- Preservation implementation projects that enhance the ability to preserve recorded sound collections.
- Planning, assessment, and preparation of recorded sound collections to be archived and preserved.
- Preservation assistance activities, including assessment and consultation related to recorded sound collections.

- The project must fit within one of the two categories: Preservation Implementation or Assistance/Assessment/Consultation.
