Who is eligible?

• Non-profit promotional organizations
• Organizations working mainly with people with disabilities

Who is not eligible

• Organizations not mainly focused on the rights and interests of people with disabilities
• Organizations incorporated for less than 12 months
• Foundations mainly collecting and redistributing funds
• Canadian federal non-profit corporations and cooperatives
• Schools and educational institutions

Eligible expenses

• Professional services and subcontracting fees
• Project staff salaries
• Rental or purchase of essential equipment, software, and materials
• Travel, accommodation, and meal costs in Quebec
• Promotion, administration, and management costs, up to 15%

Ineligible Costs and Activities

• Application preparation and submission costs.
• Strategic planning projects.
• Costs tied to the organization's overall mission, except designated project staff salaries.
• Salaries paid by another employer.
• Refundable GST/QST related to the project and the value of volunteer labour.

• Quality of the project idea and approach
• Expected short-, medium-, and long-term impact
• Feasibility, timeline, and partner involvement
• Contribution of people with disabilities
• Environmental and social sustainability aspects

• If this is your first application or no online file is associated with your organization, complete the eligibility validation form.
• Submit the validation request no later than 10 days before the funding deadline, before September 16 at 11:59 p.m.
• Once your eligibility has been analyzed, eligible organizations receive access to continue their application.
• If your eligibility has already been validated and your organization's mission has not changed, submit the funding request directly using the unique access you received.
• Submit the funding request and all attached documents in French between July 3 and September 30 at 11:59 p.m., unless an exemption applies.

• Applications are reviewed against eligibility and evaluation criteria
• Decisions are sent no later than December 3
• If approved, a funding agreement must be signed by both parties
• Project changes require a modification request after the agreement is signed
• A post-project accountability report must be submitted online
