How to apply
- Arrange a pre-consultation meeting with the Economic Development Office to discuss and confirm application requirements, program eligibility, proposed scope of work, project timing, and supporting documentation requirements
- After the consultation, submit a completed application with the required supporting documentation
- Submit a separate application for each individually addressed property
- Submit the application to Prescott's Economic Development Department; electronic submissions are preferred
Processing and Agreement
- The applicant shall not commence any works or studies subject to a CIP application before municipal approval and execution of any applicable grant or loan agreement
- Once all required forms and supporting materials are received, Town Staff will undertake a preliminary screening of the proposal and application
- If the application meets the program requirements, it moves forward to review and approval, and a PAC meeting is scheduled
- The applicant is notified whether the application was approved or declined within 48 hours of the PAC meeting
- If approved, the applicant must enter into an agreement to receive approved funding, and payment follows submission of required proof of expenses and payment

- The 2023 CIP replaces the 2018 CIP.
- The plan provides financial incentives under five categories, including the Downtown Core/RiverWalk District, Heritage Properties, Employment Lands, Brownfields and Residential Development Lands.
