- Upgrading seeder equipment to allow for banding, side dressing, or injection of fertilizer, and upgrading manure injection and incorporation equipment.
- Use of polymer coated urea fertilizer, combined nitrification and urease inhibitors or dual inhibitors, split application of fertilizer, and synthetic fertilizer substitutes, including manure, compost, and digestates.
