• Endowment funds with other organizations
• Operating expenses
• Fundraising events and annual fund drives
• Completed projects, political activities, debt retirement, deficit coverage, and direct religious activities

Eligible geographic areas

• Municipality of Pembina
• Pembina-Manitou area
• Manitoba, South Central region

• Project primarily benefits the people of the Municipality of Pembina.
• Project activities are carried out in the PMAF granting area.
• Services and access are available without discrimination.
• Preference is given to projects that benefit the whole community, use community resources efficiently, promote new approaches, and encourage volunteer participation.

• Step 1: Get the application
  • Download the form from the PMAF website or request it by email.
• Step 2: Complete the form
  • Fill in the project details, organization information, funding request, and supporting information.
• Step 3: Submit the application
  • Send the completed application by email or mail to PMAF before the February deadline.
• Step 4: Follow the review process
  • Provide additional information if requested and wait for the Board’s decision.
• Step 5: Sign the agreement if approved
  • Return the signed grant agreement before payment is issued.

• Applications are reviewed by the PMAF Board.
• An interview may be scheduled if more information is required.
• The Board makes the final funding decisions for the year.
• Applicants are notified of the decision and next steps.
• Approved applicants must sign and return the grant agreement before payment.
• A final report must be submitted after the project is completed, no later than one year after the grant is made.

• The foundation awards grants annually.
• Applicants may be invited to an interview if more information is needed.
• A signed grant agreement is required before payment is released.
• A formal project report is required after completion.
