- Step 4: Finalize the agreement
- Successful applicants sign a funding agreement before funding is issued.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed by a subcommittee of the Department of Social Development and Seniors and the PEI Seniors’ Secretariat.
- Projects are assessed against the program priorities and objectives, including impact, innovation, and cost effectiveness.
- Applicants are notified by letter and/or email of the funding decision.
- Successful applicants must sign a funding agreement before funding is released.
Additional information
- Applicants may submit up to two funding applications for two separate projects.
- Successful applicants must submit a final report by March 1, 2027.
- Approved funding amounts may differ from the amount requested.
- Past recipients may reapply if all previous reporting requirements were completed.
