How to apply
- Apply for or renew Pasture Days Insurance by March 31.
Processing and Agreement
- If supplemental feed is provided or livestock are removed before the end of the coverage period because of a lack of pasture, MASC must be advised immediately.
- Claims are paid after November 30 when the pasture coverage ends.
- Reports received and accepted after the deadlines are charged a $500 late fee.
- If an indemnity is payable, the insured is charged an additional late claim fee of 25 per cent of the indemnity, to a maximum of $1,000.
