  • Project administration and overhead directly related to the project
  • Equipment rental and project materials
  • Training, counselling, mentoring, and client supports
  • Wage subsidies, allowances, accommodation, and transportation
  • Professional fees, travel in Canada, and evaluation costs

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Capital improvements such as building construction or renovation, except limited disability-related repairs or renovations
  • Administrative costs not directly related to project administration

How to apply

  • Step 1: Prepare application
    • Read the applicant guide.
    • Complete the application form and budget detail template.
    • Gather partnership commitment letters and proof of registration.
  • Step 2: Submit the package
    • Apply online through GCOS, or send the package by email or mail.
    • Include the required supporting documents with your submission.
  • Step 3: Confirm submission
    • Keep the confirmation number or receipt notice.
    • Wait for the department’s review and follow up if more information is requested.

  • Applications are first screened for completeness and eligibility.
  • Eligible proposals then move to project assessment.
  • If information is missing, applicants may have 5 business days to respond.
  • Approved projects require an agreement before funding starts.
