- Contribute to the greening of your community
Processing and Agreement
- After you submit an interest form, Tree Canada’s Development Team follows up to learn more about your organization and begin planning.
- Your team lead is then connected with the Program Team and a Tree Canada Forestry Specialist to coordinate the site, schedule, and activity type.
- Tree Canada works with trusted planting partners to secure a suitable location for the event.
- The activity is tailored to the selected site and may involve tree and shrub planting or stewardship tasks such as watering, mulching, invasive species removal, and general tree care.
- On event day, a Forestry Specialist leads the two-hour activity on-site.

- Events are scheduled during Canada's annual planting seasons in spring and fall.
- A lead time of three to four months is required to organize the event and secure a suitable site.
