Overview
The PADAAR – Measure 4075: On-farm or Indoor Demonstrations grant provides a lump sum of $2,000 per project to support initiatives that disseminate new production techniques, agricultural equipment, or adapted crops and livestock through knowledge transfer activities to producers. Eligible activities must have a collective or sectoral scope and take place in Quebec, focusing on sharing innovations within the agricultural and agri-food sector.

Eligibility
- The applicant must be an agricultural operation registered with the Ministère de l’Agriculture, des Pêcheries et de l’Alimentation or a municipal entity.
- The project must have a collective or sectoral scope.
- The project must involve a knowledge transfer activity related to entrepreneurship or agri-food.
- The project must take place within Quebec.

Who is not eligible
- Companies organizing training programs leading to a diploma.
- Businesses hosting trade shows or exhibitions.
- Entities conducting fundraising, social, or union activities.
- Organizations planning events targeted at a restricted audience or promoting a business unrelated to advisory services.
- Companies involved in projects related to recreational cannabis or non-Health Canada approved cannabis products (except industrial hemp), including cannabis derivatives like food ingredients, processed foods, topicals, concentrates, tinctures, and capsules.

- Relevance and structural impact in the sector or region.
- Technical and organizational feasibility of the project.
How to apply

Complete and sign application form
- Download and complete the Measure 4075 application form
- Ensure form is filled out accurately and signed by the authorized representative
- Prepare a proxy or relevant document (e.g., minutes, resolution) authorizing the representative, if applicable

Prepare supporting documents
- Gather all required supporting documents indicated for Measure 4075
- Ensure all documents are organized and ready for submission

Submit complete application
- Send the signed application form and all required documents by email to padaar@mapaq.gouv.qc.ca
- Submit the request preferably at least 60 days before the activity date
- Ensure an automatic acknowledgement of receipt is received

Await application review
- Wait for the Ministry’s review and analysis of the application
- Project is evaluated based on eligibility and relevance

Coordinate with Ministry if accepted
- If the project is accepted, contact a Ministry representative at least two weeks before producing promotional materials or holding public/media activities
- Verify compliance with government visual standards

Submit project completion documents
- At the end of the project, submit a list of participating enterprises (name and head office address)
- Provide feedback from companies and other participants
- Submit evidence of methods used to ensure Ministry visibility
Additional information
- Applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the activity date.
- Only complete applications, including all required documents, will be processed.
- Recipients must notify the Ministry at least two weeks before producing promotional materials or holding a public event to ensure compliance with government visual standards.
- A general appreciation from participants and details of Ministry visibility must be reported at project completion.
