Eligibility

  • The project must take place in natural settings such as parks, trails, or natural aquatic areas.
  • The project must support meaningful outdoor recreation and nature-based experiences for British Columbians.
  • The project must align with at least one program priority (outdoor enhancement, stewardship and education, or inclusive participation).

Who is eligible?

  • Community-based volunteer organizations.
  • Community groups involved in outdoor recreation enhancement and stewardship.

Who is not eligible

  • Applicants proposing activities in highly cultivated recreation areas (e.g., playgrounds, skateparks, sports fields, urban farms).

Eligible expenses

  • Cash contributions toward total project costs.
  • In-kind contributions toward total project costs.
