Overview
This program provides up to $5,000 for general causes and up to $1,500 for bereavement support. It funds local projects in sectors such as animal welfare, arts and heritage, environment, education, health, and social welfare.
Activities funded
- Animal welfare initiatives.

Examples of admissible projects:

- The applicant organization must be based in the Pembroke–Petawawa area (and surrounding area).
- The proposed project must benefit residents of Pembroke, Petawawa, and the surrounding area.
- The project must align with one of the supported sectors (e.g., animal welfare, arts/culture/heritage, bereavement, children/youth/families, education, environment, health/wellness/research, or social welfare for economically disadvantaged groups).
