How to apply

  • Step 1: Start the online application
    • Open the scholarship application portal.
    • Select the college or university application type.
    • Complete the required applicant and education information.
  • Step 2: Prepare and upload required documents
    • Upload the essay in PDF format.
    • Complete the Applicant Affiliation with Trucking Industry form and have it signed by the sponsoring company.
    • Upload the signed affiliation form.
  • Step 3: Submit supporting academic records
    • Arrange for an official transcript with final marks to be sent directly to the Foundation.
  • Step 4: Add optional materials for additional awards
    • Upload the letter to the Selection Committee for first-year award consideration.
    • Upload the volunteer/community service and extra-curricular activities form.
    • Upload optional reference letters if desired.
  • Step 5: Submit before the deadline
    • Complete and submit the application by July 15.

  • Applications are reviewed after submission and assessed by the OTA Education Selection Committee.
  • Only scholarship winners are notified.
  • Funding is released after selection and sent to the post-secondary institution.
