  • Equipment for recovery, pre-treatment, and recycling of organic materials
  • Collection services for residual organic materials
  • Building and infrastructure modifications directly related to the project

  • Professional services, delivery, and contingency costs when applicable

Ineligible Costs and Activities

  • Expenses incurred before RECYC-QUÉBEC acknowledges receipt of the project, except for services, coordination, and management costs for filing a financial assistance request

How to apply

  • Complete the official application form.
  • Provide the requested supporting documents, including the financial aid calculator and applicable compliance documents.
  • For expenses of $25,000 or more, include two quotes and a justification for the selected quote, or explain why only one quote is provided.
  • Send all required documents by email in separate files to pmoici@recyc-quebec.gouv.qc.ca.

Processing and Agreement

  • Eligible files are examined in the order they are received once complete.
  • RECYC-QUÉBEC may allow 10 business days to submit missing documents.
  • RECYC-QUÉBEC may request clarifications or additional information during the analysis.
  • The applicant is notified whether the project is admissible within 20 business days after the file is complete.
  • Approved projects are subject to a financial assistance agreement.
  • The final payment depends on the approval of the final report and related supporting documents.

Additional information

  • If a project receives funding, a financial agreement is signed between the promoter and RECYC-QUÉBEC.
  • Only expenses actually incurred by the applicant will be considered eligible, and appropriate proof of payment is required.
  • Any attempt to influence the decisions regarding the evaluation of the program will result in the rejection of the project.
  • RECYC-QUÉBEC may use certain nominative information for the promotion of successful project cases, with an agreement from the promoter.
