Who is eligible?
- Independent researchers
- Canadian university researchers
- Canadian research institution researchers
- Postdoctoral research trainees with a supervisor or director as co-applicant

- Applicants without Canadian residency
- Researchers not based at a Canadian university or research institution
- Projects focused on pharmaceutical product development, product comparison, or product promotion
- Investigators with final project reports outstanding from CDTRP, ODTRF, or KFOC at the deadline
- Successful applicants from the 2025 CDTRP Research Innovation Grant competition
