- Businesses in the manufacturing sector
- Businesses in the agri-food and food processing sector

Selection criteria
- Applications are scored on a 0 to 10 scale per criterion: Excellent 9–10, Good 6–8, Satisfactory 3–5, Insatisfactory 0–2.
- Quality of the project, including the clarity of the problem to be solved, the clarity of the objectives, the project’s distinctive and innovative character for the business, and technical feasibility.
- Capacity to deliver, including the skills of the internal resources assigned to the project, the realism of the financing plan and partners involved, and the logic of the main implementation steps and schedule.
- Project benefits, including demonstration of economic impact for the business and of social and environmental impacts.
- Sustainability of the project and use of local suppliers, if applicable.
How to apply
- Choose the program applicable to your project on the financial assistance application form.
- Complete the financial assistance application form.
- Sign the form.
- Attach the required supporting documents.
- Send the form and all documents to your advisor.
Processing and Agreement
- The evaluation committee uses the information provided for file administration, program management, analysis, and reporting.
- Applicants must respond quickly to requests from the evaluation committee and collaborate actively from the beginning of the process.
- Committee representatives may access the business and related information to verify eligibility, completion and compliance of the work, and compliance with program requirements.
- Refusal to provide the required mandatory information could make the application inadmissible.
- Submitting an application does not guarantee financial assistance.

- Once signed, the form cannot be modified, so all sections must be completed before signing.
- Applicants must declare in writing any public financial assistance received in relation to the funded activities.
- Invoices submitted under this application cannot be submitted under another financial assistance program.
- Applicants attest that they are not listed in the Registre des entreprises non admissibles aux contrats publics (RENA).
