How to apply
- Step 1: Internal school board review
- School boards review submissions from eligible schools.
- Boards rank schools in priority order on the application form.
- Step 2: Complete the board application
- Prepare one application for the board.
- Have the Director of Education or supervisory officer sign it.
- Step 3: Submit to the ministry
- Send the completed form to the local regional office of the Ministry of Education.
- Submit by November 30 of the school year in which the trips will take place.
- Step 4: Post-approval follow-up
- Sign the transfer payment agreement if approved.
- Submit the trip report and financial statement by July 15.
Processing and Agreement
- The ministry reviews all applications.
- Boards are notified of their subsidy amount by mid-January.
- A transfer payment agreement must be signed.
- Funds are transferred after the financial report is received.

- School boards may submit only one application.
- Only eligible schools with interested participants are included in the board’s request.
- Schools must be listed in order of priority on the application.
