Activities funded

Eligibility

  • The applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (international students on a student visa are not eligible).
  • The applicant must have completed at least one full year of postsecondary studies within the last 10 years (Quebec candidates must have completed two years of college-level studies or one year of university).
  • The applicant must have excellent oral and written language skills in either English or French (proficiency comparable to a first language).

  • Taxable salary of $29,000 for a nine-month work term as a language assistant.
