Who is eligible?
- Professional musicians and music programmers, including composers, songwriters, and curators, who are Ontario residents.
- Ad hoc groups and collectives, including bands, ensembles, orchestras, opera companies, choirs, other music producers, presenters and festivals.
Who is not eligible
- Colleges, universities, schools, and municipalities
- Religious institutions
- Record companies, labels, managers, agents, and lawyers
- Organizations receiving OAC operating grants in certain programs
- Youth orchestras and volunteer-run series or festivals

- Artistic fees
- Production costs
- Venue and equipment rental
- Small-scale equipment, software, and electronics, up to $500
- Marketing, publicity, promotion, administration, recording, childcare, and accessibility-related costs
Ineligible Costs and Activities
- Creation, composing, or songwriting
- Fundraising activities, including benefit concerts
- Projects outside Ontario
- Major capital expenditures and major equipment purchases
- Music videos or high-cost audiovisual productions not part of the project

- Far North, Northwest, and Northeast regions of the province, including the Manitoulin, Parry Sound and Nipissing districts and all regions north of these.
