Who is eligible?

Selection criteria
- Priority is given to projects that clearly demonstrate how they actively promote water stewardship and engage other youth in water stewardship activities.
How to apply
- Submit project funding applications to the Department of Environment and Climate Change (ECC) for review and approval.
Processing and Agreement
- Applicants receive an acknowledgment by email after submission.
- Members of the Indigenous Steering Committee will evaluate each application and prepare the final list of selected projects.
- All applicants will be informed of the decision, and some eligible projects may still be refused because of financial constraints.
- If a project is selected, the applicant and sponsoring organization must use the funds as planned, provide proof of expenditures, and keep receipts.
- Selected applicants must submit a project summary, a one-page form, photos, and testimonials, and work with the program to share the project story at the annual workshop and youth gatherings.
