Latest change: New individual-applicant guidance adds a required budget, administrative host requirements, and clearer ineligibility rules for projects outside the NWT or for personal gain.
Individual applicant guidance updated
The Resource for Individual Applications now states that individual applicants must submit a budget showing how the grant will be used and include a letter of support from an organization that will serve as the administrative host. It also clarifies that projects must take place in the NWT and cannot be solely for the applicant’s or their family’s benefit. The guide further explains that the administrative host accepts and administers the funds and liability, while the individual remains responsible for reporting.
