Who is eligible?
- Family doctor or nurse practitioner practices delivering longitudinal primary care to a full panel of patients.
- Family doctor or nurse practitioner focused primary care clinics serving priority populations.
- Longitudinal or focused primary care clinics that are family physician or nurse practitioner owned and operated, or operated by a not-for-profit society.
Who is not eligible
- Episodic primary care clinics, including walk-in clinics and virtual-only clinics.
- Clinics with an RN or LPN position funded by a Health Authority, the Ministry of Health, a Primary Care Network, or another third party such as the Federal Government.
- Longitudinal primary care clinics where participating FPs or NPs have not met the minimum panel size requirements.
- Longitudinal primary care clinics whose FPs and NPs have not uploaded and maintained up-to-date panel lists in the PAS Panel Registry and Clinic and Provider Registry.

Selection criteria
- The Ministry may prioritize specific clinics, practices, or circumstances at its discretion.
How to apply
- Complete the Application Form.
- Email the form to NurseInPractice@gov.bc.ca before the intake deadline.
Processing and Agreement
- Applications are reviewed according to quarterly intakes.
- After approval, the clinic must provide an electronic funds transfer (EFT) form and sign the contract.
- The contract is a standard template and the Ministry will not permit amendments to it.
- The clinic must submit a monthly invoice for nursing hours worked.
- A year-end reconciliation is completed after each contract year to reconcile hours worked against hours required under the contract.
